About me
I am Ednelí Monterrey.
During the nine months of pregnancy, my mother amused herself by trying to find names for us girls that would fit the acronym E.S.M.Q., which in Spanish is used for hand-delivered letters and means ‘In Your Dear Hands.’ My full name is Ednelí Soraya Monterrey-Quintero, following the Spanish tradition of placing the father’s surname first.
I was born in Panama City, Republic of Panama, on January 31. I live in Brazil since I was 18 years old.
Some Personal Experiences
In my accounts, I will emphasize my mistakes and missteps, not out of a tendency to focus on the darker side of things, but because these are what distance me from God’s love and, therefore, deserve my attention. By nature, I am a reserved person; sharing aspects of my personal life is not something I find comfortable. However, I understand that this is an exercise in humility that can serve as help and inspiration for others who may be facing similar situations.

The Greatest Gift
Jesus & Mary Magdalene tell us about the possibility of establishing a personal relationship with God, and that this love, which can only be received directly through a personal relationship with Him/Her, is capable of transforming our human soul into a divine soul. This would have been the process demonstrated by Jesus of Nazareth, and it is open to any one of us, if we so desire.
I understand that it may be difficult to believe that something like this is possible, especially considering the different perspectives we have on the existence of God and the idea that a human being is more than a physical body – a soul with the potential to become divine. However, we can begin simply with the curiosity to explore, keeping an open mind and genuine sincerity in the search for truth. It is possible that the stories we have been told – or that we tell ourselves – are mistaken. The reality about God may be infinitely more wonderful than we have ever imagined or been revealed to us until now.
Projects
At the moment, I am experimenting with God´s spiritual principles, understanding that they reflect aspects of God’s nature and personality, and that their application in any area of daily life can promote profound and positive transformations. My desire is to incorporate them sincerely, as this would be the most direct and effective way to know and love God’s qualities and to increase my aspiration to have a relationship with Him/Her and the faith that this is possible.
I also understand that these principles assist us in restoring our original purity. By adopting them, we bring our errors and deviations to light, allowing us to recognize them. This recognition is the first step toward correcting them, a responsibility that is our responsibility and privilege.
I have faith that everything I am learning about a personal relationship with God is true, and I sincerely wish that others may also have access to this gift.
